An incredibly powerful performance from the men of GENTRI, this poignant rendition ofBe Still My Soul, is even more moving knowing that Stephen Nelson, the song’s arranger, specially made this arrangement after the death of his mother. When he first met GENTRI, they were the first people he ever let sing his arrangement of the song, because he knew their voices would make it all the more heavenly, and he was right! Every note and harmony from GENTRI feels loving and caring, as they keep the memory of Stephen’s mother in their heart and voices.

Released during the last few months of 2020, this song serves as a comfort to all in a world where things can feel uncertain. The collaborative effort from all the fans singing harmonies, Sam’s amazing tenor, Casey’s gentle vocals, joined me as we sang one of the most loved songs in the world is sure to cheer anyone up after a long day. Watching the video itself is also a joy, as you can see everyone who was featured in the video looks so excited to be doing so, proving how music truly connects us all.
