Peter Hollens is an American entrepreneur and classically trained vocal artist best known for his work on YouTube and Facebook as an a cappella singer. With over 7 million subscribers and online followers, his videos have reached over a billion views since 2011. Peter has collaborated and performed with award-winning artists such as Gladys Knight, Brian Wilson, Jason Mraz, Lindsey Stirling, American Idol’s David Archuleta, and The Piano Guys.
Peter’s album,Legendary Folk Songs, debuted at #1 on both the Classical Albums and Classical Crossover Billboard charts and he became the first a cappella artist to reach the top 10 of the Emerging Artists chart. He has released over 200 digital singles and eight studio albums to date and continues to release new music every other week. He performs in a variety of different genres; folk, spiritual, Disney, gaming songs, pop, and everything in between.
Peter consults many of his peers and advises companies including Patreon, Loudr, and Tubular. He is a pioneer of the Creator Revolution and is frequently invited to speak for organizations. In 2015, he was the key commencement speaker at the University of Oregon’s graduation ceremony. In 2016, he met with members of the U.S. Congress to promote music education.
As an artist who is extremely passionate about teaching others, he has built the Creator Education platform - a robust, online education video series that teaches aspiring creators the key entrepreneurship skills and strategies needed to live their passion in the digital age.
He loves entertaining people of all ages with family-friendly content online through his company One Voice Productions.
In 2020, Peter began Legendary Vocals as a way to extend his success to fellow artists outside of the traditional music label model.
