I wanted to pull some songs that myself and some fellow collaborators have performed that have been Oscar nominated (or winning!) songs! The last one is my favorite video on the list  – whileBohemian Rhapsody might not be an Oscar nominated song, the video itself is full of iconic movie scenes and makes for the perfect video to watch to get yourself in the best mood for the Oscars!

Somewhere Out There

This Oscar nominated song from 1986 is a classic. From the hit movieAn American Tail, the song is a testament to the love people can share even when great distances are between them. Peter Hollens is joined by Tiffany Alvord and her sweet soprano and Taylor Davis’ incredible violin playing as they make this an unforgettable performance!

Beauty and the Beast

Evynne Hollens has her husband Peter Hollens join her for their breathtaking and romantic take on this Oscar winning song,Beauty and the Beast! Hailing from the movie of the same name, Evynne’s incredible voice and stunning golden dress make her the exquisite Belle!

Into the West

This Annie Lennox favorite fromLord of the Rings: Return of the King, is covered masterfully by Peter Hollens in this misty, dreamy video. The song won an Oscar for Original Song, and you can hear why the song rightfully won; Peter’s emotional solo paired with the moving lyrics of saying goodbye to a loved one is nothing but cinematic.

The Moon Song

The Hound + The Fox make for the perfect performers for this Oscar nominated love song! The Moon Song, featured in Spike Jonze’s filmHer, highlights the tender relationship between two people, whose love feels so great, they feel like they’re the only two people in the world. Reilly and McKenzie, a married couple who have been putting out music for a few years now, capture those intimate and heartfelt emotions easily in their voices and the way they look at each other.

This is Me

Peter Hollens brings all the infectious energy in this exciting video ofThis is Me! The Oscar nominated song fromThe Greatest Showman is an ideal anthem to sing at the top of your lungs. Joined by 500+ Patrons of Peter’s, this show-stopping number is fun to watch and sing along with.

Bohemian Rhapsody

WhileBohemian Rhapsody is a Queen fan favorite originally, Peter’s take on the infamous song is filled with classic movie references! The entire music video contains multiple different genres, as well as a few Oscar nominated and winning movies! Can you spot them all?
